| Description/Bio: | CERVEZAS ARTESANALES Our beers are created using only premium barley, crystal clear purified water, hand selected hops and the finest brewers yeast to create our truly artisan beers. ENJOY! BLOND LAGER This is our most traditional Mexican style light lager. It has a light body and light color with a very delicate balance of hops and malt to create a complex yet mild flavor. Body - Light Color - Light Gold Hop Bitterness - Mild RASBERRY LAGER Raspberry, raspberry, raspberry! This is a light beer with a delicious and refreshing raspberry flavor. The perfect beer for a sunny Cabo afternoon. Body - Medium Light Color - Rose Gold Hop Bitterness - Mild ESCORPION NEGRO Our Schwartz beer is a black lager with plenty of malt flavor. Although this is our darkest colored beer, it has a light body and goes down surprisingly easy. So like the scorpion this beer stings, but does not bite. Body - Medium Color - Black Hop Bitterness - Mild COSTA AZUL COMMON LAGER California’s original beer style developed during the Gold Rush of 1849. This is a lager brewed with special yeast that gives this easy drinking steam beer a hearty yet quenching flavor. Body - Medium Color - Hazy Light Copper Hop Bitterness - Medium CERVEZA ROJA A well balanced combination of malts and hops come together to produce this red, full bodied beer. Aromatic at first, the malt soon dominates the flavor of this ale, finally giving way to a smooth hop finish. The brew master recommends enjoying this red ale with a red sauce pizza. Body - Medium Color - Red Hop Bitterness - Medium LUCKY NUMBER 13 This unfiltered ale is the 13th batch of beer created at the Baja Brewing Company. It has assertive hop spiciness tamed by a slight malt character. It is an interesting cross between the Pale Ale and Red Ale. Best enjoyed by itself or with any beef dish. Body - Medium Light Color - Orangey/Amber Hop Bitterness - High BURRO BROWN A strong brown ale made with 4 varieties of English Barley, smooth drinking with caramel and chocolate malt flavors. Enjoy this rich brew on a cool evening by the fire pit and let it warm you from the inside. Body - Full Color - Brown Hop Bitterness - Medium PEYOTE PALE ALE Our most flavorful ale. We use pale English malts during the brewing process. This rich, flavor intensive ale is not for the weak beer drinker. But if you like to challenge your palette, this hop extravaganza will satisfy. Body - Medium Full Color - Copper Hop Bitterness - Aggressive The restaurant is adjacent to the brewery and located in the historic art district of San Jose del Cabo. The art influence spilled into the restaurant where there are several artistic features such as an original statute of Saint Lucas, the patron saint of brewer’s and bachelors. Half of the restaurant is an outside beer garden complete with a water wall and wood-fired pizza oven. The other half feels like your walking into a Mexican version of “Cheers”, and yes, you will find some of the same friends there every night. The menu ranges from traditional pub fare like Shepherd's pie, burgers, french fries, chicken fingers, wings and oninon rings to more sophisticated dishes such as a coffee-dusted filet mignon, crusted sea bass and a spicy Fetuccini Alfredo. Rob Kelly, the BBC’s restaurant guru, sums up the menu as "international pub fare with a strong local influence." |
